It’s been way too long since Missoula has had a good thunderstorm after dark. As soon as I saw lightning on the horizon I grabbed my camera and rushed out the door.

Unfortunately, I didn’t have my tripod ’cause I lent it out, so I had to make due with some rocks on the ground. I kinda like the perspective that it gave…

I reached the magic number on True Love Waits by Radiohead. The song technically doesn’t have a drum part… but I made one up. And it was fun. I’m sure Thom Yorke would glare disapprovingly.

I know — I live a very exciting life, full of adventure and intrigue.

For those who don’t know, a theremin is a musical instrument that you can play without touching. It detects the position of your hands using Science and emits a corresponding frequency.

As an added bonus, some of them have antennas that cats love to swat at. For those who don’t know, a cat is a small domesticated mammal of the feline order. They are oftentimes ridiculously adorable.

I want a kitty. I want a theremin. Both would be ideal.
